COMMON QUESTIONS
General & Services
Answers to your questions about our dental services, what to expect, and how we care for your family.
What dental services do you offer?
We offer comprehensive dental services including routine cleanings and exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, dental implants, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, Invisalign, and emergency dental care for patients of all ages.
How often should I visit the dentist?
For most patients, we recommend a checkup and professional cleaning every six months. Some patients with specific conditions—such as gum disease or a history of cavities—may benefit from more frequent visits. We'll help you determine the right schedule for your needs.
Do you see children and families?
Absolutely! Riverbend Dental Care is a family-friendly practice. We treat patients of all ages, from young children getting their first teeth to seniors. We love helping families establish healthy dental habits that last a lifetime.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays, an oral cancer screening, and a professional cleaning. We'll review your dental and medical history, discuss any concerns, and create a personalized treatment plan. Plan on about 60–90 minutes.
Do you offer emergency dental services?
Yes. If you experience a dental emergency—such as a knocked-out tooth, severe toothache, broken tooth, or lost filling—call us right away. We reserve same-day appointment slots for emergencies and will do everything possible to see you promptly.
What is cosmetic dentistry?
Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your smile. We offer professional teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, dental bonding, Invisalign clear aligners, and smile makeovers. Schedule a consultation to explore which options are right for you.

What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United Concordia. Not sure if yours is covered? Give us a call and we'll verify your benefits before your appointment.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We understand dental care can be a significant investment, so we offer flexible payment plans to fit your budget. We also partner with CareCredit and other third-party financing providers to offer low- and no-interest payment options.
How much does a cleaning cost without insurance?
A standard cleaning and exam for patients without insurance typically ranges from $150–$250, depending on whether X-rays are needed. We're happy to provide a detailed cost estimate before any treatment begins so there are no surprises.
Do you offer financing options?
